Tropics for Spring

We all know the staple pattern for spring is florals (groundbreaking), but today I’m shining the spotlight on another one of my favorite spring patterns: the hawaiian shirt.
You’ve seen them before: the uniform of dads on vacation since the dawn of time (well, at least as long as I can remember!) But the Hawaiian shirt is experiencing a rennaisance. No longer is it reserved for men on the beach. It’s now been claimed by… everyone. Now, if you want to wear a Hawaiian shirt, you can - without a need for a high school ‘theme day’ or worrying about ridicule. Hawaiian shirts have been becoming more and more popular in the past couple of years, and I for one, am all for it.

And why not? I’s the perfect shirt for spring and summer. It’s lightweight, univerally flattering, the patterns are colorful and fun, and good vibes emenate from them. Not to mention - they’re incredibly versatile! For spring, I love pairing a cropped tropical shirt with high waisted jeans like I did here. In the summer it goes perfectly with your favorite cutoffs or a cute tennis skirt; and for your vacation it make the perfect festive cover up.
