Olive You, Olive & June

I love getting mani pedis.
I love having my nails beautifull painted and feeling just properly pampered.

Since COVID, I’ve really missed getting my nails done.
I’ve been painting my own fingers and toes; but I am definitely not a nail artist!

Enter: Olive & June.

I’ll admit, I was influenced! I saw so many instagram ads for this company and I had to know what the hype was about (especially since I love my essie nail polishes!). It turns out, the polishes (while amazing and in great colors) are not the star of Olive & June. The star is their mani bootcamp. Even just their 10 minute video on how to give yourself a proper manicure made all the difference! In just a day, I’ve learned how to properly cut and shape my nails, how to buff my cuticles (did you know that you shouldn’t cut them unless you’re at a salon? No wonder my nail beds looked awful!), how to properly prep my nails for painting, how to paint them, and then how to clean and finish them (without smudging it up!)

I absolutely LOVE how my mani pedi turned out, and I’m so happy that I’ve invested in myself with Olive & June; I definitely recommend them, y’all!
